Ugh... Morning already? I don't wanna get up... 

I reluctantly open my eyes to face the the new day.
Ugh... so bright... and my head... 

I sit up in bed slowly and rub my temples.

And I have to teach those brats today?! Man... What did I do wrong in my past life to deserve this! 

I continue to pout in my head as I get up and cook my breakfast. 

I leisurely eat my breakfast of miso soup and rice and sip on some green tea. After a quick bath, I get dressed into my battle kimono and put my hair up into a top bun, holding it together with a hair stick and being extra careful to let some strands of hair loose in the front. 

"Hmm... Perfect!" I say to myself approvingly after striking a few poses in the mirror. "Now... I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be.."

But do I really have to leave right now? 

Repressing a sigh, I check the time on the denreishinki. 

Gehh... A-aahh... it would appear... that I won't make it there on time even if I were to rush... Well maybe if I use shunpo... but is it really worth the hassle? Definitely not. 

I look up exasperatedly.

"Oh well! I guess this is one of the perks of being a teacher. The little brats will just have to wait!" I chuckle to myself. 

I grab the novel on my nightstand and take my time as I head towards the academy.
